Hello everybodies...I'm now 4 weeks deep into Radiography school. It's ridiculously hard so far. I knew it was very intensive, but man, I really need to push myself with this! It's not necessarily that I'm working harder than ever, but I am working in a much different way than I've been accustomed to and have to study the hardest I've ever studied. It is completely different being a medical student as opposed to an English student (my undergrad). There are so many facts to memorize. It can be very overwhelming. I've already had a couple breakdowns, but I think I'm getting more into the swing of things now...I've realized that in order to get through this I really have to keep my social life to a minimum. I study or do assignments every night, including all weekend. It's Friday night and I spent 5 hours studying with a classmate. Yes, I am a super NERD. At least when we switch from academics to clinicals in November, things should ease up a bit, i.e. I won't have to take 4 tests a week. I can't wait. I just hope I make it to then! I have a midterm in my hardest class this monday and I am extremely nervous for it. Wish me luck! I sure need it....
Ok sorry this whole journal is pretty boring. I'm sure you all really want every detail about my academic habits. LoL
Lets talk about things I'm happy about....(No particular order)1. It's October! Hayrides! Haunted Houses! Halloween! Oh my! Somehow I will fit this in between my crazy studying. 2. Phillies are NL East Champs for the third year in a row! Awesome to win it again, but they really need to amp it up so we can get to the World Series again! 3. Love life=Awesome. Whatever we're doing lately, we're doing it right, and that makes Meira a happy lady :). 4. My sister and my little nephew visited for a little bit. He is already getting so big! They left Wed. and I already really miss them so much. When Wicket smiles, it seriously lights up my world, big time. I wish that they would move back here so I could see them all the time. Florida is too far! 5. This site makes me happy as always. New members I've been talking to are so nice and really cool people. You guys help keep me sane! So thanks!
Well that's all I got for now...time for sleeps so I can get up nice and early to study more!

I know you can get through next few weeks. I can imagine how hard the studying must be- Radiography is no joke! But you are more than capable. Now go rock it! :)
October is a great month for all the reasons you said. Also for me because there are a lot of great bands playing in my area this month. More shows than I can actually go see.
And one thing that always remains constant, Meira, is that you are so very beautiful! It is always a pleasure to gaze upon your loveliness!

Thanks for the encouragement! I actually did pretty decent on my midterm, which is a big relief. Just gotta keep trekkin through the rest!
