Awwww, I don't have any tattoos, but I've always worried that this same thing would happen to me if I did get some. Do you think this will happen every time or maybe it was just because your blood sugar was super low that day? You've gotten tattoos before and I'm assuming those didn't make you this sick, so maybe it will pass if you bulk up on sugar for a few days and give it another shot. I love bird tattoos! I can't wait to see yours.

i havent gotten any tattoos since ive been diagnosed as hypoglycemic

and i thought that if i ate and had sugar near me i'd be ok but didnt work out that way so i have no clue waht to do because i dont want to have to go through this again just so i can get the outline finished let alone all the other work that i need on it

eating a lot immediately before i get tattooed always makes it a more tolerable experience for me.

What?! Well, honestly, I don't know much about hypoglycemia (not even sure if that's the right word), but maybe ask a doctor? That seems kind of silly, but I did look on google just now, I got curious, and didn't find much.

it just means i have really low blood sugar

and i mean the only thing i can find is eat,drink and thats what i did

You should try those sugar tablets that diabetics take. You can get them at the pharmacy. Perhaps that would help gorgeous

Before I get tattooed, I always try to do three things:

1. Don't drink the night before

2. Get some good sleep

3. Eat a nice big meal at least an hour before going in

And in your case, I would bring some snack with you (such as trail mix, a sandwich, etc.), and maybe keep some sort of sugary energy drink on hand.  Hope that helps!!  :)

Hmmm...that sucks.  I know I got sick once getting tattooed, but it was because I barely ate beforehand and didn't drink very much water during and after the appointment.  Maybe getting it done bird by bird will be the best way to go.  Granted, it will take a while...but it's better than getting sick.

Is it painful when you get tattooed?  Maybe that's what's triggering it.  If so, perhaps you should try to take a minor painkiller beforehand...or a muscle relaxer.  Just a thought...

so i guess its just because of that

i just hate getting sick from it

its the worse feeling ever

so bird by bird right now seems like my best bet
