you're really picky about something...for example, let's say tattoos in my case. i like tattoos. good tattoos. so it sucks when i see a really handsome dude and get a girl boner...then realize the dude has got the shittiest tattoos i've ever seen. koi fish. kanji. crappy japanese sleeves with nothing but water, lilies and a fat ugly koi, bad script, etc.

ugh. why?

i know i have a boyfriend. that's not my point. my point is it is such a bummer when you're that picky about something that it really can make you 100% no longer attracted to someone.

anyone have anything similar? ugly feet, bad teeth, dirty nails, annoying habits? any of those a deal breaker for you guys? i know it's shallow but you can't always help it.

tomorrow klariza and i are going to the long beach tattoo convention. yayyyyy. i'm stoked because i'm going to see a bunch of my friends, not to mention a lot of good artists. ink and iron is always my favorite convention. never disappoints. :)

holy crap, i am in love with eva. i realized it the other day. she is just so freaking adorable with her big giant glasses and her cute little face. i want to kidnap her.

i've been commenting on sets religiously but have fallen back a bit with forums, so i'm about to go be a forum troll but i just wanted to say hellooooooo! and that i am doing very well.

trip to canada soon! (at the end of this month), i can't wait. i miss canadia and its inhabitants.

Sounds like good times to me, I totally want to go to that. It's almost a week after the Ink & Iron Festival (Long Beach tattoo convention) too, so it gives me time to plan another visit to the LBC. Sushi, sake, sumo wrestling, music? Can't beat that. Especially when you like Japanese culture as much as I do. If you live near Long Beach or if you think you might be remotely interested in going, let me know and maybe we can meet up! :) Klariza and I are more than likely going to go and eat lots of sushi.

so i had the fun opportunity to shoot in some merch from alumni and 410bc the other day. it was fun! i am in love with the nachobear t's from alumni. you may remember the cuteness that is the nachobearz from one of wren's diy sets she sent in. AMAZING. i am getting one of my very own soon and i can't wait.

i'm happy. still need to find a job though. luckily the places i applied at (places i totally would want to work at) aren't hiring until early june. so that means i might still find one i like soon. :D

too much wow is bad for your brainz.

i just ordered a new septum retainer and some new jewelry for my philtrum. i love having it back! i missed it. back when i had a metal face, my septum and philtrum were always my favorites, so it's nice to have them both again. the great part is BAF has mind-bogglingly fast shipping. i pay $2 for shipping and usually have my order within three days tops. A-M-A-Z-I-N-G.

i can't wait for it to get here.

i had something really random happen to me today...

this weird student/crackhead looking woman tried to steal my cell phone. i went to this school near my house to set up an appointment with a counselor (they have tons of random classes, so i wanted to look into what they have to offer, since the school is 5 minutes from my house) and had set my phone down on the big front counter in the office. i went behind the counter to where the desks were to sign a paper and came back around no more than a minute later and voila! phone was gone. luckily the secretary lady sitting across the counter at another desk immediately informed me that the lady standing next to me had it in her pocket. it was so weird having to ask a grown woman whether she had taken my phone or not, she denied it for half a second before the secretary lady got up and said, "i can see it in your pocket! it's sticking out!" and the woman gave it back to me and said she was very embarrassed.

...awesome? people have no shame.

i've been doing awesome. job hunting, reading tons and of course...playing too much wow. all is well in the world of mary. need to go back to lurking sets and forums more regularly though. sorry guys. :o

long beach convention is coming up! i'm so excited for that. i'll be getting more work done on my sleeve in a few days so it'll seriously look almost finished after that. stoked to see it all done finally.

anyway, i'm going to go lurk the forums a bit. check out my new set and let me know what you think. :D

as i whined in my video blog a few days ago...i've been building a MISSION. i finished sebastian's mission project last night finally. it was due today and his teacher better give him a good grade or i'm going to be bummed. i worked hard on that darn thing. it ended up looking really cute! totally forgot to take a picture of it before he took it to school. :o oh well, we got those back eventually, right?

i have a new set going up on the site on wednesday afternoon and it's a good one! i'm excited to see it. i have some stuff to take care of all day during the morning so it'll be nice to come home and lurk one of my new sets. if you already know what i'll be up to wednesday, yay! i'm excited. it's about time i get the ball rolling with my school stuff. i r like teh learnz.

tattoo appointment is creeping up. only a few more days. my sleeve is going to be finished in no time. i can't fucking wait. i realized i haven't been posted any shots of how it's coming along but i'll probably post some after this next session. better late than never. :D

i have to do more job hunting asap. i hate hot weather. i <3 gg.
