going to the airport really late tonight. i'll be in toronto by tomorrow morning. yay! alice and dee, of course i want to see you guys! i have my own pc there, so just send me a message and let me know when you ladies are free. i'll be there until july 14th. :)

going to a friends wedding saturday! finally picked up an outfit that i think is appropriate enough? not bright or colorful but it isn't black, white or red so that's good enough for me! i'll post pictures after the wedding. :)

hopefully the airport isn't a mess. they make me nervous. :/

so my philtrum/medusa piercing had healed up perfectly fine and then the other day at night somehow i must of banged the back part of the stud into my lip kind of hard because i woke up and the inside of my lip was all fat and had a little cut. now of course if you've ever had that piercing done, you know that the minute the stud goes in a weird way, the flat (usually sharp) round edges of the stud sometimes just keep digging in and that's exactly what happened.  so there was a sweet chunk of skin that was pretty much starting to cut away from the inside of my lip.

gross, right? weeeeeird to me. never had a problem with that piercing. SOO bummed but it was starting to bother me and no matter what stud i changed it to it was still cutting into that same little side and making it worse. so...bye bye philtrum. i will redo you again eventually i'm sure.

canada on friday. friends wedding saturday. back on the 14th.

still need to go buy a dress for that wedding today :o

wish me luck! no fucking white dresses.

i just had the absolute worse case of cramps i've had in a really long time. i seriously thought i was dying. walking around the house completely doubled over in pain. then i decide to take some pain killers forgetting that i hadn't had any breakfast...so then i had horrible cramps and i was nauseous, had cold sweat and kept getting dizzy.

go me. i'm an idiot. finally managed to pass out for a little bit and now i feel a little bit better. tried to eat half of a bagel with cream cheese in hopes that it won't wake the stomach monster. i hate periods. :/

someone come rub mah belly.

since my mom is out of town for a bit visiting family in mexico, i get to water her plants. only...there is wasps out there. not sure exactly where their nest is but every time i go out into our patio to water the plants...voila! 2-3 come out of nowhere and start flying around me. i'm not particular scared of bees or wasps, i think they're neat. doesn't mean i want to get unnecessarily close to one either though. :/ stupid wasps need to move to another patio. i wish i could give them an eviction notice.

some of the plants are looking a little wilted, i hope it's the weather and not my watering habits that is making them little sad plants. :(

canada in 11 days and i can't wait.

i was starting to get sad that my sets were staying below 35 comments. you guys are bored of seeing my noodz. *waaa*

hahaha. i kid. i am going to canada on the 27th! i am so excited. i love being up there. flight is officially booked and i can't wait. still need to go shopping and find a dress i like for that wedding i'm attending. i decided not to go with the white dress. i'd rather just avoid a possibly awkward situation. :o smart, right? dee needs to come hang out while i'm there! ;p

i am craving dim sum sooo badly. i haven't had any since the last time i was up in canada. i'm not even sure there's any decent dim sum places near me? i need to google them shits and see. maybe i'll be pleasantly surprised. if you haven't ever tried it and get the chance to, please do. it is all super yummy and the experience is lots of fun.... i think i mentioned this in a journal before but i'm emphasizing my point, hahaha.

 

i have a wedding to attend at the end of the month. flying up to canada for two weeks to go to one of my boyfriends good friends wedding. now...i've been to h&m, forever 21 and charlotte russe trying to find a dress for the wedding and until today, no luck. i am very picky about dresses. they have to be simple and comfy. i am not very girly but i still like cute things (mainly shoes and jewelry) but when it comes to clothes...comfort is my main priority. so...i'm having trouble finding something i like enough to actually buy. :/

i did totally find one today though that JUST got added to the forever 21 site that i think may be the one. it's cute, simple and dressy enough for a wedding, i think. plus we're not supposed to wear black (the invitations say spring colors! *gag*)...but with this dress i feel like i can get away with wearing a little black and some killer black heels.



this however brings up another dilemma, the bride is wearing white. now some people believe it is disrespectful to wear white/red anything that would distract attention from the bride...BUT, i really don't think this dress is that striking? it is very simple and has black and light pink in it. it is nothing like a wedding dress. some people have told me they'd totally wear it, some people have mentioned it might be in bad taste to wear a white dress regardless. o.0

on saturday my friend klariza and i decided to go to ink-n-iron (known to most of us as the long beach tattoo convention). we had a pretty good time!, despite the fact that the freaking price went from $20 last year to $40 this year. + the price of parking and the over-priced food/drinks.  yikes! i'm all about supporting my local tattoo scene and all...but $40 is a bit much, imo. :o

the main redeemer was getting to see so many familiar faces!!!! i got to see linden, kortni, three of my bestest friends (klariza, jake and brandon), pretty much all of my tattoo artists and all sorts of other interesting folks. it was great. :D after my friend jake was all done getting both of his hands tattooed by todd noble, a bunch of us took off and met up at bj's restaurant and brewery for some dinner. that place makes greattttttttttt food. i couldn't of had a nicer time.

i really wish we would of known cameras were allowed, i'm bummed i didn't get to take a picture with my loverface linden but at least i got to hug her repeatedly!

also, lately i have discovered that my monitors built-in webcam can be really entertaining. o.0 hahaha.
