too bad i just bought a new pc and the first versions of stuff like this are always chock full o' glitches and bugs.

still amazing though and i can't wait for more versions of this to pop up. it's basically a giant iphone but better to all of you technologically challenged folks. :D

so i'm back in sunny california. missing canada already and convincing myself to go job hunting...immediately.  not remotely picky about what sort of job i get. *shrug*

i am currently...still playing way too much wow. i got a beta key (two in fact) and i get to play the expansion which is really, really fucking awesome. death knights are amazing, all the new things they're adding in the expansion are awesome. people whining they might not play wotlk are going to miss out big time. trust me, i officially know this.

i am in awe of all the new girls! i say that in a totally appreciative, excited way not a snooty way. i can't stop lurking new girls/adding them on myspace, etc. hello dears! :)

i've been a busy bee since i've gotten back and i've still got loadsssssssssss of stuff to do. mainly job hunting but i did get convinced to do a shoot next week. so if i get some pretty samples, i will definitely give you guys a peek. :D

anyhowz, i'll be updating again more often now that i'm home and settled. :)

i just redid my playlist that i have posted on IAM/myspace. i seriously don't listen to anything on my computer anymore lately. i just leave that playlist playing over and over. i'm weird about music anyway. there are only a select number of bands that i can actually listen to an entire cd from. most of the bands i like, i'll like maybe 1-3 songs off of any given cd and those are usually the only songs i'll listen to. so instead of ever listening to a cd/album i just make a playlist with all of my favorite songs and make life easier on myself.

beats skipping 10 songs on a cd just to listen to the 2 i like, right?

i'm weird, i know. you should see me sitting in my boyfriends room on the spare computer...watching BT boss strats and listening to old metallica with my hair totally fucked up. this is disturbingly nerdy. someone help me find a job so that when i get back my life doesn't revolve around raiding and farming rep. :o lulz.

DEE IS SUPPOSED TO COME VISIT ME SOON. be excited. i might shoot some more diy's for her.

has been really, really nice. got here on friday during the day and i was soo tired. my flight left los angeles at around 6:00 am, meaning i was at the airport at around 4:00 am or so. i had zero sleep the night before my flight. so friday afternoon we just hung out around the apartment, boyfriend made us burgers and fresh yummy fries.

then we ended up having to go shopping because of course, he still hadn't figured out what he was wearing to tom's wedding saturday. thank god we found him a really nice light green shirt (had to go with spring colors)that he approved of. then we went out and got slushies! it has been soo humid up here this weekend. bleh. :(

the actual wedding was really, really nice. tom and jackelyn looked amazing. they are definitely more garretts friends than mine, but they are nice folks. i now know that weddings make me mushy. the place they got married at was so cute. tons of trees and plants everywhere. i was going crazy finding little bugs all over the place. i found the cutest baby millipede and i wanted to keep him but garrett told me to let him go free. :( :(

the decorations were really nice, the food was delicious, the booze was tasty. overall i am now a fan of weddings? at least the well organized ones with an open bar. they took SO MANY pictures (their wedding photographer was this cute girl who i made friends with), i can't wait to see some of them. they had this big table covered in candy jars where people could fill up little boxes of candy to take home...yeah...i'm pretty sure i used my tallness to my advantage and reached over some tiny children to snag the last of some of my favorite sour gummies. she took photographic evidence. :o

mwuahahaha. :D

i will post pictures whenever i find some, i took a few with garrett's camera though because we got there way early so that he could help with some stuff. it was unbelievably humid that day, to the point where everyone was sweaty and feeling a bit gross but i'm sure you'll probably notice when i post some more pictures. hahaha.

during the rest of the weekend we raided with our guild and went out for dim sum. mmmmm. i love being here.


p.s. i ended up buying a sweater at h&m to go over my slightly see-through frilly shirt because i figured it would be more appropriate for a wedding that way. i think i looked like a secretary but a lot of people said my outfit was cute. i was ok with all this until i saw people wearing BLACK.

kill me. i then took off my sweater because it was way too hot. :p freaking humidity ftl.

going to the airport really late tonight. i'll be in toronto by tomorrow morning. yay! alice and dee, of course i want to see you guys! i have my own pc there, so just send me a message and let me know when you ladies are free. i'll be there until july 14th. :)

going to a friends wedding saturday! finally picked up an outfit that i think is appropriate enough? not bright or colorful but it isn't black, white or red so that's good enough for me! i'll post pictures after the wedding. :)

hopefully the airport isn't a mess. they make me nervous. :/

so my philtrum/medusa piercing had healed up perfectly fine and then the other day at night somehow i must of banged the back part of the stud into my lip kind of hard because i woke up and the inside of my lip was all fat and had a little cut. now of course if you've ever had that piercing done, you know that the minute the stud goes in a weird way, the flat (usually sharp) round edges of the stud sometimes just keep digging in and that's exactly what happened.  so there was a sweet chunk of skin that was pretty much starting to cut away from the inside of my lip.

gross, right? weeeeeird to me. never had a problem with that piercing. SOO bummed but it was starting to bother me and no matter what stud i changed it to it was still cutting into that same little side and making it worse. so...bye bye philtrum. i will redo you again eventually i'm sure.

still need to go buy a dress for that wedding today :o
