sorry for not updating in a bit. having a bit of a rough october this year unfortunately. :O it's over now though and i'm hoping november will treat me a lot better. ;) especially since i've got big plans for at the very least, being a productive little kitty. some stuff happened lately that has had me a little down, but i'm working on getting over it. so instead of saying hello and then getting all emopants on you lovies, i will just sayyyyyyyyyy that i've seen better days lately. although, i still have all sorts of pictures to share and funny stories. so here's a few things i've done since the last time i darn did update. :D

i got new bug pets! the roaches are madagascar hissing cockroaches and they are named pancho and carlos. pancho is the smaller one.

funny/sad story about pancho, the other day when i was giving them water/feeding them...i was silly and left their cage open while i went downstairs. i had no idea they could climb out by using the stick that's in their cage. i was getting ready to do my laundry so i had a big pile of clothes on the ground that i was going to toss in the washer as soon as i was done feeding my buggies. well, apparently pancho decided it would be a good idea to climb in there. he fell out stone dead (or so i thought) from my wet laundry and i freaked the fuck out. my fault for not double checking that they were both in their cage before i closed it obviously but still, total accident. i felt like a horrible roach mother. until...the next day he started moving...and eating. damn they are tough little fuckers. O_O he still seems a bit weak and his tummy does a weird spasm but i hope he makes it.

this little guy is franjean. he is a yellow-banded millipede.

my goal when i went to the insect fair + pumpkin patch in pomona this year was to get my hands on two african black giant millipedes. i had had a full grown one before and he was an amazzzzzzzzzzing little dude. died after several years. however to my disappointment i found out thosssssssse guys had been banned from import into the u.s! apparently they carry a weird mite that is hurting some flowers/plants in the u.s. bummertron. you can still buy them here through breeders, but the prices for them quadrupled and i didn't have $140 to spend on two tiny babies that day. so instead i bought franjean, pancho and carlos. franjean will never get as large as one of the african millipedes, but he is cute none the less. :)

it was sooooooooo unbelievably hot that day. it's not even funny. glad they always make the best fresh lemonade there. i can't wait to go again next year! *crosses fingers*

been doing some job hunting and thinking over all sorts of stuff. pretty much have my priorities pinpointed down to three specific things that i need to work on and well, they're going to take some effort but they are by no means impossible. which is awesome. :D

this is me two nights ago:

after those pictures were taken a pretty much got completely hammered off of kamikaze's and beer. puked in a gas station twice. puked at my friend nate's house twice. spent halloween (literally almost every hour of hallowee) with the most skull splitting headache and i was super nauseous all day. lesson? i weigh 100 lbs, drinking more than three drinks will always, always be trouble for me. i thought i had learned that one ages ago, but i guess not. -_- at least i looked cute before i got hammered. glad i had nate to take care of me too, i heard from other friends we were at the bar with that i was a trainwreck, lawl.

i decided that for next year, i am going to be a lawn gnome. pretty serious about this. even though i didn't go out for halloween last night (watched some scary movies with my momma and handed out candy to whatever kiddies ventured to our door), i did go to a halloween party last weekend at my lovely friend jennie's house and this was my costumez:

so yeah, this month has been interesting. we'll see what november has in store. :D /miss you guys and i'll try to keep posting regularly again. can't wait for thanksgiving!
