My opinion neither speaks on GodsGirls behalf, nor does it reflect on how I feel about what GodsGirls' take will be on this, if any.

It honestly hurts to see people call Philip a "coward" and "spineless."

It's been over 2 years he's been fighting, he's already spent over $18k already, and he still owes more than $25k. There are personal issues and legalities involved that most people who now feel betrayed are not aware of. I'm sure those of you that are close to him are familiar with these complications already and are being wiser about how to react to this sudden "change of heart". Know this: There isn't any change of heart. I hope if you're reading this, you will understand. I know that what most offends and pains everyone is his and Apneas's post about SG not being so bad anymore, especially if you've donated towards his fight against them. Nothing changes the fact that SuicideGirls is still putrid and unethical. Nothing.

It may seem silly to trust his decisions right now, but please do. I swear to you, things will make sense in time. Just give it all time.

I also just read an interesting LJ blog regarding this statement released by LP. It's origin my be in question. Check it here: http://ebolagrande.livejournal.com/81020.html Everyone has opinions, and that's good. Let's just not be too quick to shout them without all the information we can acquire. I'm just saying, there may be a lot we (the public) don't know. OXOX

Tori	06/26/08 11:22 pm pst I've been following & supporting him since this all started and to be honest, I feel a little bit sick. For the people that have been watching this since the beginning it's just a little weird. I'm sure there is an explanation and most likely a settlement and he was made to say this but still... It's like watching some dramatic movie and seeing the good guy die at the end.
