so this weekend i went to visit my hometown and hung out with the boyfriend and his friends. i had some awesome awesome sex, let me tell you, but only once. UGH! how shitty is that? pretty shitty. but it was really good and i am thankful to have gotten any sex at all. but his friend kept coming over to hang out and ruining my life basically. we had to lie to him and tell him we were going to sleep so he would leave, as if it weren't obvious by my disheveled appearance that we were quite busy. why don't people know when others are throwin' out the vibe to leave? i don't understand. oh well.
that same friend that ruined my life (temporarily, of course) had to drive me back to portland because my original ride was sick when we drove down to visit, and then drank on saturday, which only made her more sick and unable to drive me back to portland. but no biggie, i am just glad i was able to find a ride back. i hate missing class, i always feel like i miss so much. i try to miss class only once (per class) a term. so far, i have done just that.
on the drive back to the wondrous portland, i bought a bag of hot cheetos puffs. hello, loves of my life! god, they are so good and i am now obsessed. i love hot cheetos, and now that they come in puffs, it is the best thing ever. cheetos puffs are nice, but hot cheetos? perfect. on the drive home, my boyfriend's friend mentioned that whenver he ate those they burned his asshole when he took a poop, which i thought was hilarious. that has never happened to me luckily, but i think if it did, i would still love them because they are seriously that delicious.

the other day, though, i ate hot cheetos and sweet tea and my stomach hurt so bad!
but then i pooped and felt better, thank goodness.
on to other things!
i registered for spring term and i am really excited!
tuesdays and thursdays are going to be intense, long days, but monday/wednesdays are short as hell, and i have no classes friday!
here's mah schedule:
monday/wednesday:
gentle yoga; 9:00-9:50
zumba; 10:15-11:05
tuesday/thursday:
pilates; 10:00-10:50
power & imagination; 12:30-1:45
meditation; 2:00-2:50
mentor session; 3:00-3:50
writing research papers; 4:40-6-30
friday/sat/sun: free to do whatever i want!
i am also extremely excited for the term to start because that means i get moneymoneymoney, which means i am going to buy a bike!
i am really afraid to bike in portland, but i want to start. so i am going to buy this beautiful schwinn cruiser:
gosh, isn't it lovely? yes yes yes! and i will be able to strap a little basket on the back to hold my books and whatnot.
which brings me to another thing!
i am going to take a year, maybe year point five, off from "collegiate" schooling and go to cosmetology school.
taking an esthetics course this summer, approximately 19-28 weeks, depending on how many hours a week i want to go for (24 or 40),
which i think is going to be really fun. i want to get that part of my life started,
because i feel like anything related to cosmetology is sort of age limited, or maybe that's just me.
i just feel like after a certain point, people think you are way too old to be in that field.
so i am going to do that, then go back to college as soon as i am settled in it.
it's going to be awesome!

turns out little missy may bought it.
oh well, we will be twinsies and i really don't care.

i am taking a bunch of pe classes because i get really unfocused before summer starts.
best to take only a few normal classes.
also, i love love love that set idea, but i have a giant research paper to write this weekend.

that bike AND helmet are super sweet. now i'll wave at anyone i see in that helmet in portland haha, hopefully, you (and your friend) will be the only ones though...cause that always sucks when you get something new and realized everyone else has it too. what cosmo school are you going to? i went, but i dropped out...how embarrassing, beauty school drop out :)

she lives in eugene, so i will be the only portlander (that i have seen) to have that neat helmet.
i am debating between beau monde and euro institute.
i would love to go to euro institute because the coursework seems more thorough,
but it's more expensive AND i would have to take a loan out to go there.
not a fan.
at beau monde i can get scholarships, and financial aid thanks to the fafsa,
so it will probably be the one i choose.

i went to the aveda institute in nyc. i recently got a facial at the new one in portland, and it is soooo nice in there!

no matter what you are doing right now, i am 99% sure that going to the store and getting hot cheetos puffs is definitely worth it.

My dad is from Grants Pass, or at least he was born there!
Biking in Portland is mostly scary if you're an asshole who acts like the rules of driving don't apply to you (which I'm sure you're NOT), or if you do dumb things, like try to bike on Burnside and shit. I don't like biking in Portland, because there are a shitton of hills and my bikes keep getting stolen. Nowadays they have fancy locks that won't break or come off, or whatever, but I'm too cheap to buy a FOURTH bike.
I've always wanted to go to beauty school. I'm about 12 credits away from getting my BA, and I sometimes think that I made a mistake. Oh well, I guess that I can always go after I get my degree.
