i have been doing lots of shooting the past few weeks, and am getting really antsy.  today i started getting some stuff back from:

my week was umm... a week from hell.  seriously, my office is the most ridiculous shit show ever, especially when my boss takes time off.

saturday night i celebrated the end of my work week by having a shoot with ruzz, we hadn't really discussed what we were wanting to do.  we started off sort of slowly, but soon we managed to come up with a really interesting concept for some shots, which i am really excited to see.  these shots involved us running out to safeway to buy a chocolate cake at 11PM, i was wearing nothing but a trenchcoat and some cute frilly underthings.  i winked at the security guard and i thought he might die.

to be truly avant garde, ruzz decided to park haphazardly in the handicapped spot, stating that no gimps were out at this time of night on a saturday. of course, because we only ran into the store for 5 minutes, there was no ticket when we got back out. 

i want to say more, but i do not want to ruin the suprise of the photos for you, so i will wait.

it was about 2AM when he dropped me off, i was woken up early to go for mothers day brunch with my family.  it was nice, after that we went shopping with my mom, she never ever buys new things except for when we drag her to the store and make her.  we found her lots of cute spring and summer stuff, but the highlight of the day was when we finally found a purse that she liked, and have now i believe successfully rid her of the terrible fanny pack days.

do any of you have relatives that you just don't get along with? mine is in town right now, she is my moms older sister and she is one of the most self-righteous people i have ever met.  the worst part about it is that everything she thinks needs to be ranted about endlessly, and almost everything she says is so ignorant i can't even believe it.  most of the time i can keep my mouth shut and bear it, or tastefully disagree, but sometimes she says something so ridiculous i blow up.

that happened last night, while my sister and i were preparing dinner.

she decides to start talking about how workplaces are being blasphemous by choosing to call their holiday parties "holiday parties" instead of "christmas parties", because canada is a christian country and as such anyone who lives here must abide by it.  they can celebrate whatever they celebrate on their own time, but christian holidays are christian holidays and trying to be inclusive of other people is wrong.

i am sure i don't have to go into detail about what pissed me off about that, i almost flipped.  i didn't yell or anything, but i sure as hell gave her a piece of my mind.  everyone has opinions, i understand that, and everyone is entitled to their own.  however, you can't just start spouting off this type of bullshit while you're a guest in someone else's home.  how do people miss out on a little thing called TACT?

then she has the nerve to say that i just argue with everything she says to be spiteful, really, that's not what it's about at all.  i just finally am old enough to decide that i am not always going to let her stupidly fucking ignorant rants go un-matched.

i slept in late today, and now i am dicking around and being lazy until eddie picks me up.
we are going to go to her new house and cook dinner and catch up because it's been so long and i miss herrrrr!

tomorrow is back to work. ew.
