Leona's journals

I have been thru many many many hurricanes. We are use to it. But when i watch the news and the reporters get a weather hard on and start freaking out. "oh my gosh , there goes a shingle!" This storm is not bad and they hype it up so much.

I have company too :) I am very nervous around people and freak out when i have company or people in my house. It makes me nervous. I am always alone and never have people over. So when my sister in law asked if her and her baby could come stay for the storm, I said sure! But then it dawned on me that people will be in my house. I had a panic attack. They got here and i have been doing well. Getting over it. They are probably the only people other than Jay that have stepped foot into my apartment. Rare event.

The storm is hitting and I am cuddled in bed eating some spagetti O's....on my pure white bed set. Yes, I dropped some and now have to try and get the stain out.

Since Jay works for  a TV station in Lafayette, he has to work round the clock til the storm is over. Maybe the next few days. I packed him an overnight bag, my sleeping bag, and lots of snacks. I wish I could be with him. I hate being here in Shreveport without him. Very lonely.

I have been working for a local college doing some work for their costume dept. Organizing and getting things in order. The dept. head offered me a position teaching a sewing course. Not sure if I want to yet. I also have to do some day play costume work on a film starting Thursday. The I have another movie the end of this month. A Bruce Willis and Owen Wilson movie. Should be fun.

i made a vblog. and realize that i dont like my voice and i move my lips funny. I bite them and make silly faces when i talk.  I look kinda silly. I will need some speech boot camp before i post one.

me and jay came back to shreveport for his 2 days off. Had the most amazing sex last night! So good that I let jay smoke in the house after instead of making him go outside. But I have to drive back today to bartend at Renaissance tonight. 
I finally bought a webcam. Video blogs and WoW rants to come.

I look really silly but rock the ski slope!

I just ate half an entire cake. And am watching TiVo Big Brother. And have yet to brush my teeth.

Although I have not played World of Warcraft in a week. I am on vacation. I'm tired of the crap, drama, and raiding. I did find something constructive to do with it tho. A few of my friends don't have epic flyers yet (slackers), so I'm going to farm for a few days and make some dough for them. Of all things in the game, I love working the economy most and exploring content. I was so bored one day last week, that I went kill the old world dragons for shits and giggles.

Wow, Big Brother is crazy. These people are nuts! I don't like Libra.

Tonight, I'm going to bartend at my old bar for fun. I'm in Lafayette visiting until I have to go back to work in Shreveport. It will be fun to get behind the bar again and have fun.

Starting to really like Rock Band. I rock at the drums.

Drunk much on the toilet?

yesterday me and and my bff Sushi went to an anime convention. We were most likely the oldest broads there. I went as Chun Li and she went as Super Milk Chan. I made both costumes. I didnt expect sooo many people. We could hardly walk. I did get stopped quite a bit to take photos, but it was fun. My con time was short but we did go to the cosplay contest. Didnt enter just watched. I forgot how much I loved watching the skit portion and acts. :)
I did get goosed by a 12 year old boy who wanted to take a picture with me. I didnt get mad, i thought it was cut.
I also wore  very skimpy thong. It looked great until I passed a air vent or gorhugged.....showed ma butt to the world...a room full of children. Thank god I didn t wear the Aeon Flux costume. They wouldnt have let me in. It is geared more towards children i guess. Ill wear Aeon Flux for Halloween. :)
