I found out Saturday evening that my great uncle had a stroke and is currently in the hospital recovering, although we don't know how severe it was or how much damage was done.  I also found out my grandmother died in her sleep during her afternoon nap on Saturday.  It was very sudden and without any warning so of  course the Medical Examiner has been involved.  Since she lives in a small town, she's been transferred to the nearest city for her autopsy which should be completed by tomorrow.  To make things even more exciting than they already are- tomorrow I write my finals.  One is on Thanatochemistry which includes inorganic, organic and biochemistry so of course I'm stressing the fuck out about it.  The other exam is on embalming which will include a huge section on autopsy cases.  So around the same time I'm discussing how to put someone back together again, I'll know my grandma is being disected by the coroner.  A bit of a mind fuck but I've got to get through it.  What a shitty fucking week.
