Where are you getting your tat?  I used to live in the Quad-Cities several years ago (Moline and Bettendorf), visit Iowa City every now and again, and wondering where the good shops are.

my buddy shoey tattoos me at rites of passage in davenport, he does nice work. there are a shit ton of shops around here. o'tool design does awesome work, they are in rock island. and a few other nice shops do exsist, but really most of them scare me- haha.

I know Rites of Passage and O'Tool Design sounds familiar.  You're right about most of the rest of the shops out there being scary.

so howd the tattoo go? and yes omg they all scare me too! i went to scorpions den once....never goin back, which i dont get the guy who did my tattoo, ive seen decent work from him. apparently cherries were too much to handle. I go to Alex Pompa. Hes over in Silvis now. If he ended up disappearing again I would prob end up going back to O'tool.
