Leave it up to France to produce the best and most brutal horror film I have seen in a long time.
I recommend this film only to fans of brutal and extreme horror.
This is a Dimension Extreme film, they also were behind Teeth (awesome in its own right!)
I neglect to see most mass marketed horror fare even though I am a horror fan because
most are just not up to par with my standards of creepiness and true legit horror.
The box cover screamed rent me or buy me!! (pregnant belly and scissors...the whole phenomena of women cutting babies out of the wombs of other women is curious and horrific to me ) I decided the former option initially
but now that I have seen it, the latter for sure! Can you believe I found this movie at Blockbuster?!

You might want to go and rent it now before complaints force this one off of the shelves.

I've watched both Haute Tension and Irreversible. I watched Haute Tension entirely in French (I only speak and understand English and some very basic German and Latin) but I could understand what was going on. That film was fucking incredible. Irreversible is horrific but wonderful. There is a scene in this film that was so brutal and so real that it is painful to watch but it's still amazing. I appreciate French movies.
Jezebel for you I would recommend a Spanish film called Rec. You'll probably love it if you give it a chance. It is a horror film and it feels like you're really there with them experiencing all the emotions they are dealing with.

Damn, i really don't remember that scene...
'Inside' definitely sounds like a movie i should check out! I love Beatrice Dalle! The french are really good, you should see 'Haute Tension' and 'Irreversible' if you haven't yet.
