I am Jezebel of GodsGirls and I approve of this new layout. heh.
Does anyone else know of the wicked slice of vampire cinema that is
"Daughters of Darkness" (1971 Harry Kumel)?

The film is a dark and sleek modernized tale about Elizabeth Bathory.
(with whom I am quite enamored of, in a purley perverse way)
The costumes and sets are exquisite as is the use of color.
I can not say enough about Delphine Seyrig in this film.

Delphine Seyrig's portrayl of Countess Bathory is only rivaled
by the calm cool of Catherine Deneuve in The Hunger.
Also worth mentioning is Andrea Rau as Ilona, Elizabeth's "companion"
She is perfect as the pouty and petulant Ilona.
Anjelina Jolie reminds me of her.

There is a book about the Countess that I want and will eventually get;
The Bloody Countess: Atrocities of Erzebet Bathory by Valentine Penrose.
Speaking of Erzebet, here is Erzebet Bathroy by Sunn O)))

You should do a set with a "Daughters of Darkness" theme! Better yet, make it a two-girl set. Can I be your second gal? ;)
