So I guess a couple was found shot to death next door to my moms house today. I'm not trying to act like my mom is above double-homicide/possible murder-suicide or anything, but I mean, she's living in a NICE neighborhood. And I like it that way...I like to believe that my mom is safe in bed every night, purely based on her priveledged demographic setting and surroundings. I don't live in an area nearly as nice as that, but I'm a fuckin ninja so I can hold my own. Moms aren't supposed to know how to kick ass, cause that's what dads are supposed to be hanging around for...but like so many, mine's got a whole new family to serve as the resident ass-kicker for. Well that's ok, I can just know shes safe in bed every night by calling her...which i pretty much already do. Well, before she's actually in bed. I'd be a dick if I called her every night after she was already sleeping.

i once woke up to a burning body in the dumpster behind my apartment a couple years back... i mean, i've seen a few frightening/messed up things in my life but that was, well... something else.
