What's been happening lately:
cooking and baking:
here's the photos of that vegan pumpkin pie we made:
we carved it and then baked it:
I think Justin is smooshing it in that bowl? hah. I don't know.
making the crust:
finished product: it was fuckin' delicious
And we made some cupcakes, we literally ate most of them right away.
we used some leftover pumpkin, and that's cinnamon icing!
I think I was saying something like "these cupcakes are bouncy"
We also made a vegan shepardess pie!
I think Justin is actually cutting up beets there, which weren't part of the recipe, but they were nummy.

and then we were on a mission to find sweet shit in the garbage, but then came across this cat in an alley:

and we found a shopping cart to push stuff home in
unfortunately it was literally mostly garbage, but we got a tv stand which houses dvds, and a bedframe, and some milk crates, and a nice cabinet (not pictured)
and my bff again when it was still warm out:
and here's my bathroom, we use those milkcrates as shelves for towels, but apparently we need to do laundry
my hair looks sort of weird, it's in a low pony tail, i was about to take a bath.
it's 39 degrees out today, and in Green Bay it's snowing. What the hell. I'm seriously layering the fuck out of my clothes. I don't even own any socks right now, I've been wearing my vans without socks all summer because it was so hot out. I think I'm going to buy these boots for winter, but they're like $136. Then again, it's better than wearing canvas shoes and having purple toes for a few months. ( I was seriously concerned I had frostbite last year, my toes were almost permanently purple and I couldn't feel them.)
these boots are vegan, steel toed, and apparently they don't fall apart:
the site also sells a sweet jacket for like $150 which I'm not getting because I"m poor, and while it looks badass it's not actually warm, I need functional things.
