hi.

im on a hip hop tour with some boys that you may or may not know.  we're in miami last night, come see me and kate if you are here and bored.  i'm going to see vanessa tonight.

so, last night i was taking the J train home when i went to change the song i was listening to on my ipod and low and behold, it didn't work.  the damn thing froze.  i thought this was just something small, didn't matter, i could restart it when i got home. 

12 hours later, my ipod has officially died.  T.O.D : 12:48pm Wed Jan 16th, 2007.
 
that is 4000 songs that i probably wont be able to get back (a lot of them anyway).  another thing, i cant afford to get a new one until the end of the month.  so, that means considering i'm going on tour TOMORROW i'll have 2 weeks stuck in a van with cage, yak, govone, charlie, glue and katie with no music.  i'll have to listen to so much opi and anthony.  i mean opi and anthony is funny but, when is it enough?  i think there are tears in my eyes.  real ones.  i live for music and now i'm deprived.

come say happy birthday to me in denton or kansas city.  actually, in kansas city i'll be beyond wasted with team reunion 2007.  I'll be touring with Cage, Yak Ballz & S.S.S.  XO Skelleton's are on the first 2 or 3 date's i believe.  There will be something having to do with the black eye club, so get into that.  Maybe i'll go out and get a polaroid camera today.  Bring it on tour with us.  I can start the buy a 3$ polaroid with erin & katie or donate to the erin needs a new iPod becuaseherliveisruinedwithoutoneandshe'sdecidedshewantstodieaslowdeathaloneinherroom cause.  or something.

(just to make things a little bit more clear, the 3$ polaroid selling was moreso directed as joke.  oh internet interpretations.)

well, i've finally been converted to firefox from safari and low and behold!  i have a table where i can make smiley faces and change the colour of my font!  exciting right!  i can also make spread sheets on gmail now and chat with other people on gmail.  how fancy.  i'm very excited about all of these new things.

something else i'm very excited about is the fact that nadja lives about 15 feet from me.  we are neighbors, how random is that?!  i'm pretty into it.  we went on a coffee date this morning.  she offered to help me turn my stove on because i'm afraid of things that explode or ignite (such as my stove).

so, i'm still in love with last.fm but it has been failing me recently.  it had me download this band called "island" which i mean was pretty alright i guess but, it wasn't what i'd like to listen to.  i think its because i was neglecting it for a few weeks.  so, for the past 48 hours i've basically been cooped up in my house listening to as much of my preferred music as possible.  maybe now it will get back on track with introducing me to new music.

i emailed eastvillageradio.com in attempts to get a radio show on that station but i have not heard back.  i think i'm shit out of luck unless i actually go there or get directly introduced to someone that works there.  so, i guess thats my next plan of action.  anyone wanna hook me up?

ever since i worked at 11 spring street (see past journals) i've been full on art fagging out.  proof:

1. ) this is one of my little disgruntled people.  i figure, because i'm such an optimistic person there has to be some sort of negativity in my and these are the little people that take that away.  (maybe new york's just made me insane?)




2.) this was at the bottom level of the david choe art opening in chelsea.  i brought my camera and was enamoured with people's feet aparently.  i highly enjoyed monica's bright orange/red pants as well.  et puis, i fucked around with it in photoshop a bit :

i saw a bunch of pictures recently that make me miss having black hair... but then again, i'm pretty into the red.  i just need it proffesionally done.  not having ashley has made my hair very upset... but, that brings me to the most amazing news ever.  i got an apprentiship at a salon in the east village when i get back from tour!  i'm even getting paid!  yeah, i'm pretty excited about that.  my life is about to become quite busy.  i'm also going to try and start my french conversational classes in march too.

i have some makeup test's lined up with another canadian miss i met on new years eve sometime soon.  rather excited about that.  i did makeup yesterday on my friend vanessa (myspace.com/vanessabley - the one i co-wrote a song with) :



i have some visitors lined up for the end of february and march.  one of them being miss leona (godilovehersomuchimsofuckingexcited) and my friend selka that i went to italy with last year. 

yep.

so, i should stop talking now.

things are good.  i love my apartment.  i finally got a bed.  i'm poor as dirt but i'm happier than a pig in shit.

so,

i figured out that me and nadja live in the same building. its fate or something, we're meant to be together.

i've been slowly decorating my apartment but, its kind of hard to do without furniture so i've been working on xmas lights, little pressed leaves that are taped all over my wall and those chinese dome globe light things.

today i think i am going to meet up with jnthn and hook myself up with a table or shelf meaning, i'm going to have to walk around brooklyn or new york looking for said table/shelf. its alright, the world is going to blow up and its going to be hotter in new york than in los angeles today. i will wear a dress.

i did absolutely nothing except watch 8 episodes of the show lost and order chinese food. it was glorious. my apartment will be a zen den by the time i'm done with it.

i'm going on tour starting on the 18th. leona's gonna come see me in austin and i'm making issa come see me in chicago.

i need to brush my teeth and wash my face.

i shot with brian rawson the other day... that was fun.

hi.

its been a long fucking weekend but its finally over.

i worked at this artshow/event/epic thing this past weekend. friday, saturday and sunday all damn day. it was probably one of the most amazing/beautiful things i've ever seen. 6 levels of art covering the walls of this building on spring street. they're gutting it and turning it into condo's but before they let that happen surprisingly enough the owner and development company let the woostercollevive(.com) put on this massive show.

hi.

things are busy but not busy all at the same time here. still trying to find an apartment to get into... hoping that will happen for january 1st or sooner but we'll see. i don't want to end up living with someone i wont get along with.

i'm still selling my print as seen on my myspace blog (myspace.com/buttpartyerin). that's going well. sending first batch in an hour or so.

its fun to see 2 of my friends/ photographers on the front page at the same time. max & paula wilson. makes me happy. go show em some love.

um. i miss katie like i'm missing a limb.

io and i are married. last night i bitched at her for moving the covers the wrong way after i cleaned and organized and she bitched at me about crumbs in the bed from my chips. quite amusing.

this weekend i'll be working at 11 spring st. there's a weekend long art show there hosted by wooster.com (i hope that's right). all street artists work being displayed.
