hey everyone

so yes, i'm not all settled and cozy in my new nest....it's pretty simple. one bedroom, some steep ass stairs that have already claimed me a few times AND i spilled red wine on the carpet the first night i was here

:/ BUT i like it. a lot. i feel very content and relaxed to feel so much of myself again.. people can take it away from you. i am going to start on a new painting this week of my papa. he died when i was 8, but he's still my favorite. it's an old black and white photo of him, cigar hanging out of his mouth, his eyes drooping as they always did.

oh and i had this dream last night...

i was on all fours in my new place with a knife in my hand in the living room, moving all around, stabbing at the carpet. kind of spinning around, really. just tabbing over and over at it, not saying anything. odd, huh.

well i'm actually terrified of knives.

Well, this entryt really isn't very glamorous....i guess i would like to mention that i'll be turning 23 next month. i don't fee 23. i usually either feel 5 or 90.
