SOOO....i work at nordstrom in the espresso bar and it's anniversary sale right now which means...it's really freaking busy.  in the past few months, there's men's half yearly sale, women's half yearly sale and anniversary sale.

my assistant manager doesn't really know how to work. she "hurt" her ankle falling in the store (i saw her fall and it wasn't bad, give me a break) so she sat in the back all day on friday doing nothing. I'm pissed! she had to get the rest of her shifts covered for the rest of the weekend and she got today covered and decieded to still come in to work to do "paperwork" which means eating cookies in the back.  i wouldn't be so mad if this was the first time it had happened. but no. she "hurt" her ankle during men's half yearly and was "too sick to work" during women's half yearly. suspicious? i think so. but that doesn't seem to matter to human resources because all they care about is perhaps having to pay her workers comp for falling in the store.
