Hello Sweet Things,
I've been so charged with creative energy lately that I decided to indulge myself, and I purchased a new digital SLR camera. I've spent entirely too much money for my bank balance to look even remotely healthy, but already I feel that the new addition is more than rewarding enough.
Once again Savage and I are looking at moving our UK residence, we have our current UK property up for sale, but with the appalling state of the housing market at the moment we aren't really expecting to be able to shift it any time soon. On the plus side of the housing price slump, we are able to afford far nicer properties in our desired locations. The fact that when our house sells we'll get less than its worth, does admittedly negate some of the benefit, but we still come out better off. We've found stunning properties in Lichfield, Leamington Spa, Sutton Coldfield, and Warwick. Lichfield and Warwick are our preferred choices, with a lot of greenery, Cathedrals, Castle, and historical buildings they're absolutely beautiful places.
I'm planning to set up a home photography studio, well in honesty with the size of properties that we're looking into, it'll be more like a professional photography studio that we just happen to live above. Savage is also still working on having his music studio built in too, but we're not sure whether to run it from a different site or not as of yet.
Life as a Mommy is very hectic but I'm enjoying it remarkably. A lot more than I expected I would. October is growing so quickly, sometimes I feel as though I blink and she's grown. She is due to model the Autumn range of baby clothing for an organic company, Perfect Start, and the shoot should be taking place next month.
Today is Savage's Birthday, and I've booked a hotel in the Peak District until Wednesday. We're going to hit the road in the next half an hour or so, it's been a while since we've taken a trip away together without some sort of chaos or work related commitment, so I'm mighty excited for the break. The Peak District is so picturesque, even when the weather isn't all sunshine and blue skies, I find it to be a truly brilliant place for inspiration. I expect that I'll return home with an over worked camera, pages of manuscripts, and a stimulated mind bursting with ideas and over-flowing with creativity.
I hope to get a chance to shoot some DIY sets whilst we're there.
