Legal Cannabis Patient + Boobs posted : 10/16/09 at 03:16pm pst listening to:Kottonmouth Kings!

Exciting news, I'm a legal cannabis patient! I'm very excited for this. I can now feel safe when I'm high in public, or transporting weed. A lot of people know that I'm a big advocate of smoking. I always end up smoking Burning Angel's out when they are here, and taking them to their first experience of Venice Beach, notable Nova, and Andy San Dimas, who ended up getting a medical card on that trip :).

But a lot of you don't know that I am much more then a weed advocate, I'm a lover of constitutional law and freedom, and I've been studying the legality of Prop 215 and the legalization of weed for years now. The argument goes in a lot of different directions. Some are hippies who just want to smoke and get high and have the right to do with their bodies and minds what they want, others are elderly in chronic pain who never thought they would smoke pot. Some people say how much revenue it's going to produce in the form of taxes, as well as jobs. But most importantly, making it illegal for people to smoke weed is unconstitutional.

I always like to look at things from a legal basis, because this is where you can actually make an argument based on laws and fact and this issue is really a 9th and 10th amendment issue. The 9th amendment basically says that just because the Founding Fathers didn't specifically enumerate certain rights, does not meant they don't exist.

The 10th amendment reserves rights to the states that are not delegated to the federal government. I know the 10th amendment as one of my favorite amendments, the "State's Rights" amendment. This means that states have the right to make their own rules and regulations, which is necessary and important in a functional democracy. The Founding Fathers were opposed to a strong federal government that would start to look like a monarchy.

Under the 10th amendment, California should have the right to legalize marijuana for medicinal purposes (or for pleasure) WITHOUT the interference of the federal government.

Anyway, there is much to this that's very interesting, and getting my medical card has inspired me to become active on an issue that I very much believe in, not on just a drug-i-want-to-get-high issue, but an issue of the right of the person to choose, and to have freedom.

Here's some pictures of my boobies, since I never post sexy picture intended for you guys, and some other happy weed pictures:

Good for you. I've donated in the past to the Drug Policy Alliance, one of the higher profile groups working for sane drug laws. One of their big supporters was Walter Cronkite, he wrote letters that they used in their direct mail fundraising efforts.

And you have nice boobs. You're adorable.
