Hello, world.
It has been quite a while since I've blogged, but I fear my life is becoming too mundane to talk about. Let's have a brief recap of the events of my life thus far:
My baby brother turned 21 at the end of September. We threw a huge party that there is apparently no photographic evidence of, and my brother threw up at midnight (HOORAY, 21!). There was minimal vomiting otherwise, save for The One Incident. Overall, I'd say it was a pretty successful event.
Now, let's talk about The One Incident. For those of you who have no idea (most/all of you), I am an epic creeper who sometimes battles with serious Cougar tendencies. Once, a long time ago, I was hanging with my girl Stephanie, and we were observing an adorable, good looking boy who looked to be all of 12 years old. Thankfully, he was at least 18. He was one of the people at this party, and after one thing led to another, he somehow ended up in my bed (cough) and then, next thing you know, God or Karma or whatever you'd like to blame it on - the kid puked ALL OVER MY BED.
As payment, I kept his really nice scarf that he left behind. (house party rule: if you leave it, you lose it.)
After this event, my friend flew in from Chicago. She's about to move here, and it's pretty exciting to have a good friend in such close proximity. While she was around, we got drunk together (to the point where I actually puked on the 4 - or possibly 5 - train on the way home) and had to be half-carried to my room by a 19 year old boy whom I am constantly doing the same thing for when HE is too drunk to function - we're all full-circle now.
We took late night pictures, some of which look curiously like a sex tape:

We took some pictures in the middle of the night that were SUPPOSED to turn into a DIY, but unfortunately it got too late and we fell asleep instead of getting naked. The next day though, I had some delicious chocolate:

we did classy things:

and when she left, she gave me the most thoughtful parting gift a friend has ever left me:

We went to Atlantic City together to see Social Distortion because her friend is drumming with them. Apparently, he's on a poster with them and watching old men in biker gear buy said posters, which they are probably hanging on their walls as we speak, is kind of awkward. There was so much hairspray, bleach, and pushup at the Social D show though, I felt totally out of my element for a moment. HOORAY for baby Vegas, though.
I don't know. Other than that, all I do is work constantly (wherein I get bored and send out twitpics from the bathroom and update my own tattoos).
My favorite people just released new music, and I've changed the sounds on my phone so that it screams every time I get a message. I've got an epic Halloween costume planned.
More pictures to come soon. Anyone know what's gonna be going down Halloween in NYC? Preferably Lower East Side? Brooklyn's too far.
xo
