Sometimes I get really drunk and my friends take awesome photographs of me.

Thursday was one of those times ...

the last of these glorious photographs has inspired an idea for a set that I will hopefully be shooting this week.

Thursday night I went to the bar to watch Holy Ghost Tent Revival, which is one of my favorite bands to see live.  I ran in to Hannah, Shane, Ryan, Andrea, Paulskies, Jon, John, Laura and several other people I happen to have a general like for.  It was a really fun night.  I got drunk, danced a lot, had a long conversation with Emily Anne, danced more, drank more, and then met some brand new friends, one of whom is named Peaches and looks like Elvis.  The 62 Ford my drunken self is perched on belongs to Peaches Elvis.  I've owed Shane a blackberry pie since this time last year and he, per usual, harked this detail upon my arrival at the bar.  I happened to mention that I had an already-made pie at my house, and somehow it was decided that Hannah, Shane, myself, Peaches Elvis, Ican'trememberhisname, and Alex were going to my house for pie.  We lost Alex, and everyone else was at my house all of 30 minutes before we donned our Fall coats and slinked back in to the cold to return to the bar.  I will leave out the part where I fell on the porch and bruised my entire right leg, because really, I'd prefer you not be made aware of my gracelessness.  

It was sensationally spontaneous, but such is my life.

Friday night was God damn terrible, but I'll leave that out, too.

And today, I woke up several hours late for a casting call in which I was running lines with the girls auditioning.  Sierra waited on me for an hour, and I love her for not complaining.  I went out to lunch afterward with the director of the film, his wife, and their adorable three year old son.  He knows more about comic book heroes than I do.  I was impressed.  We played with toy snakes and spiders, cars and slinkies.  He identified every color I pointed out to him, and told me "how many" there were every time I asked.  Smart children make me less skeptical about the future.

Tonight was boring, but I'll spare you the rant about how much I want to quit my job.

Tomorrow morning I'm singing with a choir at church, going to lunch with Sierra, and pending more time int he hell hole of a bar I am employed at.
