On Thursday night I travelled to Melbourne for one of the biggest nights of my life - the 2009 Penthouse Pet of the Year Party! It's the night when all the cover girls from the last 12 months gather together for drinks and a party, and the winner of 'Pet of the Year' is announced.
I guess you all wanna know if I won? Well, I didn't. A girl called Emma took out the title - a tall, skinny blonde with big fake boobs... what did you expect? Haha. But seriously, she's gorgeous and she's a total sweetheart so I'm happy for her :)
However, I did not go home empty handed. I won the public vote section, which means I am the "Online Pet of the Year" :D I absolutely smashed the other girls in the voting, so I'd like to say a HUGE thank you to every single one of you who voted. I know a lot of people from this site got behind me and supported me, and I truly appreciate it more than words can say. Although I didn't win the major prize and get another cover shoot and $10,000, winning the internet vote means so much to me. It's very touching to know so many people supported me, so thanks again xoxoxox
It was a really, really fun night. I got very drunk on a whole lot of free Long Island Iced Teas, and the other girls were so nice. There was no bitchiness, everyone was friendly and we had a great time together. I made some great contacts too - finally met a very well-known photographer I've been wanting to shoot with for ages, and spoke to someone from a gaming magazine about potentially writing a column for them. I hope that happens, it would be a dream come true for me to write for a gaming mag.

The other exciting thing is that we all finally got our Penthouse Pet necklaces - each year they have a fancy jeweller make a solid gold necklace for all the Pets from that year, then they smash the mold so no others can be made. It's worth a lot of money and it's so beautiful. I have always been someone who prefers to wear silver, but now that I have this I think I might switch to gold because I want to wear it every single day :)
Now that it's all over I'm giving a lot of thought to my future. I'm at an interesting point in my life, where I am so genuinely happy and content and I want to make sure it stays that way. I think I probably only have another year or so left in me in the adult industry, and I need to work out what happens next. I am really interested in running my own business, possibly a clothing line. I need to do a lot of research, but I think I will start out with t-shirts and see where it takes me.
Next week I'm getting tattooed, and hopefully soon I will finally have my sleeve finished! I am getting Sephiroth coloured in on Wednesday, and then I have another session two weeks later to hopefully finish off the background. I can't wait :)
I've been hitting the gym lately, it feels good. I've learned I enjoy weights way more than cardio, so I've really been focusing on that and already I've built up more definition in my biceps. I am pretty keen on getting kinda buff... not in like a scary body builder lady way, but I like the idea of having some hot muscle definition. Kyle and I joined a gym together and I really like working out with him, even though he obviously does much heavier weights than me haha, he pushes me really hard and motivates me!
Well that's all I have to say for now.

Ahh he just wasn't one of my favourites! I left out Vincent, Cid, Cait Sith & Yuffie too. I never got the appeal of Vincent, I always thought he was rather dull.

Haha the winner was decided by one guy. The final choice is basically made by the one guy who is the big boss of Penthouse. If you're his favourite, you're the winner, regardless of anything else

Congratulations, even though you should have won both titles. I'm sure she's a nice girl but you're definitely the hotter than the girl that won. I may however be biased because I lean more towards dark haired girls and the other dark haired girl in the groups mouth looks like a prolapsed anus. That whole kissyface/fishlips thing needs to be stopped. You however have a beautiful smile that is natural because you're genuinely enjoying yourself and having a fantastic time.
