When Mary was here visiting she went to High Park but she didn't know they had a mini zoo there. I went the other day and took some pictures for her and you can enjoy them too.







I spent a bajillion dollars on textbooks today. Why oh why do they have to be so expensive? Especially for a book that I will use for 4-8 months.

My cat has taken a liking to peeing on the floor next to his litter box. He and I need to have a family meeting because I need to explain to him that his fun new game is not very fun at all. What a little bastard.

I really hope that you read my interview in the read section. Farhaad got me to translate a rap and I did an amazing job.

I just got back from my friend's wedding this weekend. It was pretty fun. There was an open bar and I took full advantage. haha

I go back to school really soon and I'm super excited. I went by my apartment today and it's small but at least it's clean so I don't have much to do before I move in.

I think I should have some new sets going up soon. Mia and I shot some DIY's awhile ago that will hopefully go up soon.

I am going to Vegetarian Haven for dinner tonight. YUMMMMM!

I had my tattoo consultation tonight. It went really well so I'm pretty excited now. I have my appointment on October 6th so I'll have to be patient until then.

It is so frickin hot here and somehow I have managed to get a cold. I am all congested and my throat feels like it's on fire. I don't want to move because it's so humid and hot. whaaaaa! I need soup and swimming pool.

The past couple of weeks I've been pretty busy so here's what I've been up to.

Two weeks ago I went to Scenefest. It was pretty awesome.

First - The Mahones. AMAZING! I love Irish punk.



Then - I Hate Sally. I have watched this band since they first formed and they are so fucking amazing. Even more so now that they have Dee, the lead singer, in the band. Check out the parking garage and all the people sitting in the openings.







Moneen was next. Pretty cool. Kenny walked on the crowd.







Bedouin Soundclash. They're ok. Another band that I have seen from day one. Nice dudes.

I went the Roger's Picnic yesterday and there were a lot of bands but all I really cared about was the Bad Brains. I was so fuckin stoked. This is a band that I have loved for so long and never thought that I would see them live. It would be like The Ramones rose from the dead. Ahhhh! I want to be back there again. They played all the songs I wanted to hear including Sailin on, I love Jah and Banned in DC.

I am going to see them in September. yesyesyesyesyesyes! I am very very excited.

So I have this shoot coming up and the photographer wants gymnastic or dance poses. Kind of neat and I'm pretty excited for it but I need to get stretchin so I'm nimble for the shoot. I haven't danced for 4 years so I am pretty out of shape in terms of flexibility. He sent me this link on what he is going for http://www.naked-gymnast.com .
