The alemany one is hit and miss. they often have a lot of vintage clothing, furniture, doo-dads, and other miscellaneous crap you don't desperately need.
The berma heights garage sale is beyond my favorite outdoor shopping experience, but sadly, that is not til fall.
There is this museum where you can play vintage video games, that were once a penny. i don't remember what it is called.
If you want to practice your spanish for "where did you get your shoes?" you can go to the mission district and find good food. and almost run into people looking at murals.
If you want to dress up a godsgirl like a pirate there is a store for that on valencia. this is where i bought a literary map of san francisco.
paxton gate is kinda neat. it's weird as hell in there. i bought a sweet perfume bottle. it's mainly a bunch of weird junk, but if you want to kill time and go "oh weird, look at this!" a lot.
there is scrap, which is a reuse store. insane amount of crap as well. i heard that it was closing ,due to lack of funding, so i'm not sure about this one.
15th and valencia there are more junk stores and good tacos
on Haight there are vintage stores and good middle eastern restaurants. on haight there is also a pretty sweet fabric store, for all your fabric needs. do you have fabric needs?
polly ann's ice cream has interesting flavors. like have a date honey and alligator pear.
hopefully you like junk store. or ice cream. or clothes. and more junk. and food. otherwise i cannot think of anything else.
