I know people check out my journal here on GG and are not GG members. Kind of interesting. I know one of them.
I got my nipple play pierced again. Dingo and Visha some how convinced me to do three needles. At first I wanted to do one, in my right nipple (did the left one in a previous journal), but they wanted me to do three down my breast from my collarbone and a fourth one in my nipple. I coaxed them into doing only two down my breast from my collarbone and one in my nipple.
The first one was by the collarbone and that was not fun at all. It took me a while to get up the nerve to continue on the other ones. He went right to the nipple which wasn't bad at all, and the one in between wasn't a big deal either. Dingo says I stayed pretty still from my first time. Especially my nipple.
Look ma, I'm getting better at taking pain.
The inside of my shirt feels like it's constantly squeezing my nipple. Makes for interesting sensations when having conversations with family.
I was supposed to do candle waxing but I backed out from needed to rest fromt he nipple piercing. I'm glad I didn't let them talk me into doing it, I was very tired by then.
So we pierced down Visha's leg and then candle waxed the bleeding legs (needles out). It looked great despite the fact that her leg looked like she was developing some skin disease that bloomed at an alarming rate. We used a red candle and was getting some black parts from the carbon and it looked very much like a nasty wound from a zombie. Oh and she doesn't have any feelers, so it didn`t really phase her. Until Dingo snubbed the candle on a waxed part of her leg. Though really it looked more like she was being tickled... it looked like a shit eating grin, then a grimace of pain.
Catching up on my Google reader before I go sleep and dream of things I will most likely not remember.
Image from baby art blog. I enjoy how Trevor Brown sketches, drawing out his eyes and the lips. I think it's more real to me, then reality. The face has feeling. It's so real to me...
I want cute kitty for breaky.
Mmmm yes this one will do just fine.
I like flowers in my hair.
Eric Lafforque: one of my favorite Flickr feeds. He photographs all over the world and makes books. He catpures the best of every culture and ethniticity. Seeings his images shows me how much I am missing out on here in America. America is so dry and stale compared to these other places. Places where true culture comes from, and not created from a mixing pot and colonial bickering.
Here is a blurb he posted with this specific image:
The theyyam dancers make up in a little room, and try to hide themselves to the audience, so it's not easy to shoot. And once they are ready,in transe, they are supposed to be Gods on earth, so Gods do not pause for french photographer and they go dancing in front of the Temple... A great subject for pix, but hard to catch !India
