Last night was an improntu toga party. What a blast. I was a speed demon on the road trying to get there before midnight. It was absolutly hilarious! Lots of old friends I havnt seen in a while and need to see more often.

I met a guy there that I had met briefly in grade 9. Heres the story behind that. In my first highschool we had a thing called "Rage for Order". It was a student poetry book and any student could put their poem in. And of course, I did. I used to be a very avid poetry writer. Then again which depressed 13 year old isnt, right? Anyways I had a poem called "Snake in the grass". One of my favorites. Unfortunatly, it was deemed too "sexual" for a catholic school. Dont these assholes know what a metephor?! Anyways, he came up to me and hes like "I know you. You submitted that poem that rage wouldnt allow.. what was it called? Oh right. it was the one about the snake in the grass". And i was FLOORED. I have a really bad tendency to not remember people I met two nights ago, let alone someone i met 6 years ago! Talk about a moral boost. I think im going to try and pick up my poetry again. Who knows, might turn something great out.

The night ended very sloppily. As all my drinking nights do haha. I had my board with me so i boarded to my friends place with 3 guy friends. I dont know why, but we all decided it would be much better to not wear pants. And since im a serious "Fuck Pants!" typa gal, the pants were off! It was a little strange. But i was wearing my GG shirt which is nice and long, SCORE! I also ended up making out with a friend of mine on the grass in front of my other buddies house. Random.. very random. Bahaha

So tonight, its my friend's birthday. But what makes this lady special is that I have known her online for like 4 years and have never met her face to face. Im so giddy! This girl is a babe and will be drunk and i may take advantage.. and take photos of it. And then tomorrow I m getting naked with Dee and Cyn. I can not wait. These ladies are serious wetdreams of mine.

Im also wondering, will GodsGirls be doing anyting along with Warped Tour. Seems like it would be a sick idea.

Fuckin laptop. just erased the blog i made/ Anyways!

i just finished watching George A Romero's Diary of the dead and I have to say Im kind of impressed. hes stepped his game up. While i wish the style of the camera had been alittle more amature looking, using the documentary students allowed the script to be a little more artistic and thought provoking.

While some of the scenes were very genaric as most zombie flicks are, he managed to create new forms of death and brought about new scenes of disturbing behavior. One of my favorite scenes was when one of the living trapped his family members who had turned zombie in the indoor pool, covering the top. Leaving them as zombie goldfish. Twisted.

In his other movies, you saw them as that; romero films. but this felt like something else. Maybe it was the documentary style in which it was show cased, maybe it was the female narrorater. But either way, the movie left you wanting to know more. I totally recommend it to any living dead fan.

I give it 4 rotting brains out of 5.

So Mary is in town! and i have to say im wicked excited to meet her. I didnt get a chance to last time around but this time it will be super sexy. She seems like a girl who would be a blast to hang out with. Dee will hopefully be there so shinanigans will definitly insue.

so that was my other day. its been so rainy. its more like spring here. but im hopeing that means that summer will extend to october, isnt that disgusting?

My life is boring and i have no updates! hahaha. I had a day off today and cleaned my ass off.... literally..? hahahah.

ive also decided its essential to my writing to get a laptop. My brain goes to a stand still now unless it can flow out.

and its pretty cute, i will admit. I boycotted seeing it for  a while based on the fact that its to scene for me to handle. But yes, it did live up to what i heard. Ill give it that.

This week has been totally uneventful. I came home from the convention to find my "suicide is a mortal sin" shirt waiting for me and my roommate bought me a new pipe. shes amazing. she sent in her application for the site the other day. I think she would make a lovely addition to the site.

Im at my folks place for the weekend. Im dog sitting. Its nice. I get free reign of their food, car, and booze :). I dont work tomorrow and have absolutly nothing to do. I cant believe it. I cant. So, my plans for the day are wake up, put my bathing suit on and cook. In the sun that is. Not the kitchen. I also plan to get my drink on early. I work at 10 on sunday, so i figure if im tipsy by 3 ill be good.

I dont like that my job takesn up most of my week. I really have no time for myself or other things i enjoy. I got my sewing machine and serger fixed months ago and ive barely used them. I actually havnt even touched my serger yet. I suck. Oh, and ive managed to put a hole in my new GG shirt.. already. I suck.

I cant wait to sleep in :)

Ive started reading Gossip Girl. The books that the series was based on, obviously. and i feel stupid reading them. Almost as though its a total waste of my mental capacity. But i did meet a woman today when i was on break from work. Iwas sitting outside reading and she enquired what it was. We began discussing what we liked to read and i confessed im still in a bubble when it comes to authors. She recommended this russian author and im rarther excited to dig some of his stuff up. Im also going to invest in a library card this week. Just makes sense seeing as how im too damn broke to buy myself any reading material.

My dogs are sighing next to me. Its time for bed.

So! What a fucking weekend. Talk about serious intimidation. All the girls were fabulous. The weekend was amazing. Ive officialy fallen in love with some of these girls. I really have. Their personalities are all different in such amazing ways. I really have nothing to write except that it was wonderful to meet all the girls *Farhaad included* and i cant wait to see all of you again. NIX 2009 is only about 360 days away ;)
