I have a coffeemaker very similiar to this one but it is a 12 cup. My model seems to have been discontinued. It's only a few months old.

The light for "Clean" keeps blinking. I've lost the instructions. I cleaned out all the parts and ran some water through it. It still keeps blinking.
I've contacted them. In the meantime I wanted to know if anyone has this and how can I resolve it.
Thanks! |

And you can get them in several different sizes, from 1-2 to 6 cups! |

There is nothing quite like freshly plunged coffee. And they're cheaper than buying a whole new coffee machine/paying to fix the one you have now More about them here: http://coffeegeek.com/guides/presspot |

Thanks for the info. |

a French press is totally where it's at. It makes you feel so classy when you drink coffee.
Better yet, get two and use the other for loose tea! |

I try to think of myself as less of a blasphemer, and as more of a maverick.
(an aside: favorite teapot?) |

A friend used one of those manual drip coffee cones over her large tea pot to make coffee - it is funny because we know each other through her boyfriends mother who is the Head Tea Guru of the Bay Area.
That is a great little drip coffee maker, and also a great tea pot. |

This is the first time that I've ever seen a drip-tea pot before - very cute.
Also, how exactly does one become a Tea Guru? |

They're called pour overs. French presses will give you just about the same results, depending on what type of flavors you're attempting to pull out of the coffee. |

Sounds like it needs to be delimed. Run a full pot of a 1 part white vinegar to 2 parts water solution through it. Then run 2 more pots of just water through it to flush the vinegar out. |
