With less then two weeks away, the amount of Watchmen viral marketing online has just about eaten away my retinas but there are some gems here and there of interest.
I-Tunes is selling the “motion comic” of the original Watchmen series, which is essentially nothing more than animating the frames from the comic. Sorta sounds cool but is generally more annoying than anything…I implore you to not pay the $23.99 for all the episodes.
I digress, because the point of this post is that someone actually did something cool with the motion comics.
Is that the point? Oh yeah, it is.
A man or possible woman (calm down you dorks I doubt it was a woman) that goes by the name of “Demonic Murray”, recreated the original Watchmen trailer, replacing the live action shots with scenes from the motion comic.
It is actually impressive with how well it syncs up perfect for the most part.

Hey, I liked the motion comics…
I thought they were pretty nifty, since I didn’t have to do that… Reading part.
But then again… I didn’t pay for them either…
So I guess my way was worth it.
Some of it did actually come out pretty interesting…I would surely, whole-heartedly, agree with you if I did not shell out the cash!
Thank god for friends, and stealing stuff off their itunes!
