How did you start a clothing line?
-A friend of mine, who i worked for taught me how to silkscreen for his handmade special effect guitar pedal company, i asked one day, what if i print on a fabric? Duh…that’s how every shirt gets printed (mostly)..so i tried. And failed- haha! I gave another try and it all started to come together..

When did you start this line?
-About 5 years ago.

Do you consider yourself successful?
-I am a pro as far as i make my living off of it, but not as successful as you would think. It keeps me creative, and it is something to look forward to every morning. I am my own boss.

What would you like to happen to you and your clothing line in the next couple of years?

-I want to be able to do it in the years ahead, but run the circles a little wider every each time… i want to be the best at what i do, and be able to raise the bar and raise a family..

Do you come up with all the designs or do you have a team?
-I have no team, I do the designs. Leola is more like my advisor, she helps out with paper works and she is another set of eyes with a sense of fashion. Im coming from the word of band t-shirts, she has the more sophisticated touch on the styles, cuts and fabrics.

I like the colors you use, how do you decide on them?
-Many of the colors are planned and i hear that “you have a great color sense” since i was little. On the other hand, some designs are accidental as experiments being part of what i do.

Have you had any shows with your clothing line or is your clothing line in any stores?
-Yes i have had 2 galleries with the t-shirts, i also create compositions with the same old traditional silkscreen techniques on paper. One gallery featured like 100 shirts hanging on ropes across, you sort of had to walk through the tees like they were on clotheslines.

What do you think of all the sexy girls @ godsgirls.com?
-Being a straight male, don’ hate them too much, maybe i need a subscription.. i think it’s great that there is community built on everyday girls showing they confident side or on girls that show the natural pure being. It’s not that easy to show what you have, sometimes i feel naked showing my artwork..

Who is your favorite godsgirl?
-You got me..(blush)

Are you currently in a relationship?

-Yes and i am and very happy with it, but if it doesn’t work out you’ll be the first to know.

I noticed you have a lot of attractive people modeling for your designs, how do you pick them?
-Well, there’s a very few girls that i pick, mostly we have a ton of offers and i have to decide, which is also not an easy job..but it’s a lovely part of the job.

I have a few criteria that i normally go by, and it mostly involves a great character, when the personality comes through. I also love hips and cute curves haha!!

-We used to do a ton of shoots remotely, but it could be a pain, so i want to concentrate on taking the photos myself, it’s faster and more personal way to do it, not to mention more likely to go the way i imagined the best- for the particular shirt.

When it comes to other photographers i was impressed by the visions of Chuck Johnson, Sami Naffziger, Studio 206, Renee Parks and Photo-a-gogo.
